Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between WWT and cargo worthy?
Both grades are weatherproof, but cargo worthy containers have an additional CSC certification from a licensed surveyor that permits them to be used for international ocean freight. WWT containers are ideal for storage but cannot be loaded onto a cargo ship.
How do you verify a container is truly watertight?
Every WWT unit undergoes a visual inspection and hose test. We check the roof, walls, floor, and door gaskets. Any leaks found are repaired and re-tested before the container is released for sale.
Can I upgrade a WWT container to cargo worthy?
In many cases, yes. A certified surveyor can inspect and re-certify a WWT container if it meets the structural requirements. We can arrange this service for an additional fee — just ask when requesting your quote.
How quickly can I get delivery?
WWT containers are our highest-volume grade, so we typically have stock at every depot. Most orders deliver within 3–7 business days depending on your distance from the nearest location.
